I don’t care about your damn network.

I think it’s great that you’re in business. I like the shows you produce, the characters, the series, the jokes, the witty dramas, the special effects. I just don’t care about you as a virtual umbrella.

I only care about your content, as an island, unto itself.

So why is it that TV Channels, Hulu, Comcast On Demand, iTunes, and any other distribution system the networks come within inches of immediately bend backwards to organize themselves around these virtual party lines?

Have you ever seen a single P2P system organized by TV Network? Didn’t think so.

We consumers don’t care. So how about focusing on what we do care about instead? Keep your umbrella as a tool for yourself, and focus on connecting me to relevant media, instead of forcing me to navigate around & remember extraneous indirection.
