Just because the youngsters are used to it doesn’t mean they aren’t worse off for it. We live in this world of useless fleeting tidbits of nothingness; we’re acclimating, sure, but the long view is that we’ll look back on Twitter in 10, 5, or 2 years and say, “Wait, what?” We’re fooling ourselves. WE don’t understand what’s going on. We’re just too deep in it to notice.
